Playing House is a series of paintings that explores the hollowness of the promises of our culture.

 

I’m curious about the melancholy that I’ve experienced as I’ve played out this life track that was supposed to bring security.

 

The pieces reflect upon a moment of disillusionment and subsequent uncertainty of a path out.
